Fantastic evening of music

The Upper Brookfield Hall is proud to present a fantastic evening of music featuring Christine Collister (UK/Isle of Man) and Michael Fix (Australia) who return to Australian stages in 2026 with a brand-new album and an unmissable live show. Blending two rich musical worlds, their collaboration is a seamless union of voice and guitar, story and soul, depth and delight.

Christine’s spellbinding vocals — described by Mojo as able to “sing the birds down off the trees” — meet Michael’s award-winning guitar mastery in a partnership that transcends genre.

Together, they interpret songs from across the folk, pop, blues and jazz traditions, as well as presenting striking original material. Their effortless musical chemistry and playful stage presence have captivated audiences from Brisbane to Port Fairy, and their return promises to be something truly special.

Their forthcoming album — due for release in 2026 — follows two warmly received earlier collaborations and will feature another lovingly curated set of songs, full of feeling, finesse and surprise.

Whether performing in intimate theatres or at major festivals, Christine and Michael deliver a live experience that’s emotionally resonant, musically uplifting, and joyously human.

Each weekday morning, the Hall hums to life as locals gather for their daily dose of coffee, connection, and country calm. What began as a simple coffee stop has grown into a cherished Upper Brookfield tradition — a welcoming space where neighbours meet, friends linger, and newcomers are always greeted with a smile.

Whether you’re grabbing a takeaway on the school run, meeting a mate for a mid-morning chat, or simply soaking up the view with your latte, the Coffee Cart is where the heart of Upper Brookfield comes together — one cup at a time.

The Coffee Cart — Where Community Brews

When the wood-fired ovens roar to life, you know it’s Pizza Night at Upper Brookfield Hall!

Built by the community and run entirely by volunteers, our pizza nights are a true local favourite — serving up delicious handmade pizzas straight from our two wood-fired ovens.

The bar is open, the music’s playing, and the laughter flows as freely as the drinks. Every slice, sip, and smile helps support the Hall, with all proceeds going straight back into keeping this much-loved community space alive.
